Task | Brief
The focus for the duration of this task should not be placed on producing a highly technical and sophistivatde final outcome. Rather it is important to develop a highly refined concept, working primarily on experimenting with visuals, the process of forming and expanding ideas, and discovering the true behaviour of the track and each of the elements that lay within

Semantic Differential
To know what the other group-members feel and think about the song we prefer to make a semantic differential to the song.
After we put our lines together we saw what were the most similar opinions and used them to find the main characters for the song. They were: spirited, powerful, bright, polyphonic, active, strong, funny, elated, adveturous, fanciful, awake.
Analyse | Timeline
At first we tried to capture analogue what we hear, but we realized quickly it would be harder than what we thougt to chart all the different beats.
Analyse | Break Down
After these break downs we realized that the amount of beats chosen by us was too much to visualize everyone, so we decided to pick the most important ones.

Design | Morphology
After the first analyzations, we tried to break down our different beats in a more instinctive way.
We listened to each beat a few times and then tried to draw what we thought the beat could look like. For every beat we made tree different variations, so we would have a bigger selection to work on later.

Design | Colour
The characteristic for each sound we picked the colours regarding to the feelings and expressions. We researched a lot about the sense and meaning of the colours.

Design | Development
We chose the circle as our element and tried to work with it by using a grid in which the circles can move. The traces they leave show their way and will fill up the whole picture in the end. To make it even more interesting, we added a second grid in the background, which is smaller than the first one. The grid should give our animation kind of an order because we didn‘t want it to get to messed up. At the end of our project in the animation the grid also moves with the beat, the foot base. For the background we chose a dark grey because it makes the colours more striking, look more intensive. This also made it easy for us to play with the shapes and movement and it adds the feeling of a video game, which was a favourite inspiration during the work on the project.

Poster | Final
This one pleases us the best because we thought that we will keep it simple with the layout and express just with the colour the mood of our audiovisualisation.
